Beshasha Secondary School Construction Completed, Named after Meles Zenawi, the Late PM of Ethiopia

Beshasha Meles Zenawi Secondary School Inaugurated
Beshesha Meles Zenawi Secondary School constructed in Goma Woreda of Jimma Zone by Afrotsion Construction Company at a cost of six million Birr was inaugurated on Sunday. The school named after the late PM Meles Zenawi to commemorate his lifetime devotion and visionary leadership to realize free and developed Ethiopia Speaking at the inauguration Woreda education office head Alemu Mamo said the school accommodates 600 students at a time.
Currently, the school is enrolling 400 students. On the occasion, the Zonal Chief Seman AbaGojam said the school would help to expand access of quality education. He said school would contribute in the effort towards ensuring development and democracy.
Company manager Sisay Tadesse on his part said his company has constructed similar school in Tigray and Amhara States. He said the company would continue support for the realization of the Growth and Transformation Plan. Some of the residents said they used to send their children 17 km for secondary school. The school has already alleviated their problem. Some of the students Adina Seifu and Nasir Mohammed on their part said they are now able to get access for secondary school which was challenging and almost denied access.
