Ethiopia: Addis Ababa Light Railway Train Project Now 43 Percent Complete (Video)

Addis Ababa is busy constructing roads and light railway to increase the coverage of the city’s infrastructure up to 25 per cent. Addis Ababa Light Railway is one such construction; by now it is complete by 43 per cent.

Currently Addis Ababa’s road coverage stands at 15 per cent as for figures from the City Administration.

The Light Railway is expected to come to end at the end of 2014.

According to the Ethiopian Railway Corporation, Ethiopian engineers have been involved to help facilitate skills transfer.

Addis Ababa in the just begun fiscal year has set to invest 3.6 billion birr to continue to increase the road coverage of the seat of the African continent, Addis Ababa.

The hope is two years from now Addis Ababa’s road coverage stands at 20 per cent.
